Della Home Discount Code: Verified and Working (October 2026)

Della Home's window air conditioners start at the 5000 BTU capacity level, which typically cools spaces up to 150 square feet, roughly the size of a small bedroom or home office. These units mount in standard double-hung windows and include basic features like adjustable thermostats, multiple fan speeds, and washable filters. The 8000 BTU models step up to handle rooms around 300 to 350 square feet, suitable for larger bedrooms or open-plan living areas. All window units come with installation kits that include side panels and mounting hardware, though the quality of these accessories varies and some buyers upgrade to aftermarket kits for a tighter seal.

For shoppers who cannot install a window unit due to lease restrictions or window types, Della Home offers portable air conditioners with exhaust hoses that vent through a window kit. These roll on casters and require no permanent mounting, making them ideal for renters. The tradeoff is slightly lower efficiency compared to window units of the same BTU rating, since portable models generate heat internally that must be managed.

Mini split systems represent Della Home's higher-end category, pairing an outdoor compressor with one or more indoor air handlers. USA Today's Della Mini Split Review highlights their quiet operation and targeted cooling capability, noting that maintenance simplicity complements the thoughtful design. These require professional installation in most cases, but they offer heating capability and better energy efficiency for year-round climate control.

When choosing a Della Home product, start with your room's square footage and match it to the BTU rating. If you are between sizes, round up rather than down, since an undersized unit will run constantly without reaching your target temperature. Check your window dimensions before ordering a window unit, and confirm that your electrical circuit can handle the amp draw listed in the specifications.

Our team tested TPDSAVE today and confirmed it applies across Della Home's full range of window air conditioners, portable AC units, and mini split systems.

The code works sitewide right now, so there is no need to wait for a seasonal event or specific sale window.

The Della Home coupon code TPDSAVE applies across all products without restrictions, so there is no advantage to waiting for a category-specific promotion. Since air conditioner demand peaks in late spring and summer, prices sometimes rise during heat waves when inventory runs low. If you know you will need cooling equipment, buying during shoulder seasons (early spring or fall) can occasionally yield better base prices before the code is applied, though Della Home does not publish a predictable sale calendar.

Comparing BTU capacity carefully prevents overspending on more cooling power than your space requires. A 5000 BTU unit costs significantly less than an 8000 BTU model, and if your room is under 200 square feet, the smaller unit will cool it adequately while using less electricity. You can find more savings opportunities across brands in our Heating & Cooling discount codes section, which aggregates verified offers from multiple HVAC retailers so you can compare options before committing to a purchase.

Free shipping thresholds vary by product, but Della Home frequently ships larger items like air conditioners at no extra charge due to their bulk. Double-check the shipping terms at checkout, since dimensional weight can sometimes trigger fees on portable units. Signing up for the Della Home email list occasionally grants early access to clearance events, though the TPDSAVE code already provides consistent savings without the wait.

First-time air conditioner buyers often underestimate installation challenges, especially with window units that require a secure mount and proper weatherstripping to prevent hot air infiltration. Before ordering, confirm that your window opens vertically (double-hung style) and that the opening width falls within the unit's minimum and maximum extension range, typically listed in the product specifications. Casement windows that crank open sideways will not accommodate standard window AC units, and you will need a portable model or a through-wall sleeve installation instead.

Energy efficiency matters more than buyers expect, since a window air conditioner running daily during summer can add noticeably to your electric bill. Look for the Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) in the product specs; higher numbers mean better efficiency. Della Home units typically fall in the budget efficiency tier, so factor ongoing operating costs into your decision if you plan to run the unit heavily. Setting the thermostat a few degrees higher than your ideal temperature and using a fan to circulate air can cut energy use without sacrificing much comfort, and cleaning the filter monthly keeps airflow strong so the compressor does not work harder than necessary.

Della Home operates as an online retailer of air conditioning and heating equipment, serving customers across the United States through dellahome.com. The brand positions itself in the budget-conscious segment of the HVAC market, offering window air conditioners, portable AC units, and ductless mini split systems at accessible price points. Their products typically target single-room cooling needs rather than whole-home installations, making them popular with apartment dwellers, homeowners adding cooling to specific spaces, and anyone seeking an affordable alternative to central air.

The company maintains a separate commercial arm at dellahvac for contractor and wholesale customers. According to reviews on Trustpilot, customers appreciate the straightforward purchasing process and shipping speed, though some note that installation guidance could be more detailed for first-time buyers.

Della Home suits anyone shopping for their first air conditioner, renters who need portable or window-mount solutions, and homeowners who want to add cooling to a single room without the expense of ductwork. The brand's focus on smaller BTU units (5000 to 12000 BTU range) makes it particularly relevant for bedrooms, home offices, and studio apartments where targeted cooling is more practical than cooling an entire property.
